The Real Grant Martin
11/22/63
I was eight years old when JFK was murdered in Dallas. My sister—and only sibling—was born three days prior, so those days burn very brightly in my memory. As we approach the 48th anniversary of November 22, 1963, Stephen King has come out with an 842-page novel about a man who finds a portal to the past and realizes that he has a chance to prevent the Kennedy assassination.
And all I want to do is hole up in this room, order take-out, and lose myself in the next 800-odd pages. (Master of the Obvious Tip o’ the Day: Look for a big blockbuster of a holiday movie to come out exactly two years from this Thanksgiving. You heard it here first.)
